De-Sludging
Topimax Marine believes in moving ahead to meet customer demands and doing our part to conserve our Earth’s resources by reducing marine pollutions and achieving environmental sustainability overall. With the backing of our principals and associates in 2014, we are pleased to offer our customers de-slopping & de-sludging services.
We are capable of arranging the collection of pumpable MARPOL ANNEX 1 slop / sludge from vessels calling at Singapore in a timely manner. The collected slop / sludge will be sent to approved reception plant facilities for further treatment and disposal.
Our nominated slop / sludge barges possess valid harbour craft licenses and have flash point below 60 degrees Celsius. Our competent seafaring captains and crews are also well-trained in their job scope and are vigilant in maintaining operational safety.
To safeguard zero oil spills and reduce marine pollutions, we enforce preventive measures and advocate on the use of low sulphur fuels during operations. Proper disposal methods are also applied to the collected oil wastes with compliance to national standards.
Through concerted efforts, we are confident in extending our robust de-slopping & de-sludging services to all ship owners, agencies and management companies.
